CD Bridge

Developed by Royal Philips and Sony Corporation as defined in the "An Introduction to CD-ICompact Disc Interactive Bridge Disc" technical note first published in October 1991, and later published as the "CD-I Bridge Specification" ('White Book') in February 1995. Later referred to as just the CD Bridge format, it is a hybrid CD-ROMCompact Disc Read Only Memory / CD-ICompact Disc Interactive disc format created by adding a CD-ICompact Disc Interactive application in a standard CD-ROM XACompact Disc Read Only Memory eXtended Architecture disc. The CDI application must be stored in a 'CDI' subdirectory in the root folder, which contains all the CD-ICompact Disc Interactive specific files. The CD Bridge format also specifies values to be used in the ISO 9660 filesystem.
