CD Bridge

Developed by Royal Philips and Sony Corporation as defined in the "An Introduction to CD-I Compact Disc Interactive Bridge Disc" technical note first published in October 1991, and later published as the "CD-I Bridge Specification" ('White Book') in February 1995. It is a hybrid CD-ROM Compact Disc Read Only Memory / CD-I Compact Disc Interactive disc format created by adding a CD-I Compact Disc Interactive application in a standard CD-ROM XA Compact Disc Read Only Memory eXtended Architecture disc. The CDI application must be stored in a 'CDI' subdirectory in the root folder, which contains all the CD-I Compact Disc Interactive specific files. The CD-I Compact Disc Interactive Bridge format also specifies values to be used in the ISO 9660 filesystem.
